How k-Space Reconstruction Works:
Each horizontal line in k-space
contains information about all pixels in the image
Center lines (low ky)
contain contrast and general shapes
Outer lines (high ky)
contain edge information and fine details
Partial reconstruction
shows characteristic artifacts:
Truncation/Gibbs ringing when high-k lines are missing
Blurring when only central lines are acquired
Different acquisition orders optimize for different clinical needs
